This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a long-term position within a supportive school environment. Position Details • Job Title: School Cleaner • Location: Village just outside Cambridge • Start Date: September 2026 • Contract: Full Time, Long Term • Hours: Monday to Friday • 6:00am – 9:00am • 3:00pm – 8:00pm • Pay: Up to £17 per hour (dependent on experience) Key Responsibilities • Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, and communal areas • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the school • Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities • Emptying bins and replenishing supplies where required • Ensuring all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored correctly • Supporting the wider site team in maintaining a clean and safe learning environment The Ideal Candidate • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently • Takes pride in maintaining high standards • Excellent attention to detail • Able to commit to the split-shift working pattern • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one What REED Can Offer • Competitive rates of pay of up to £17 per hour • Ongoing support from a dedicated REED consultant • Opportunity to secure a long-term role within a highly regarded school • Weekly pay • Access to REED benefits and training opportunities If you are looking for a rewarding role where your work helps create a positive environment for students and staff, we would love to hear from you.
