Cleaning Supervisor – Facilities Team Location: Newcastle upon Tyne Hours: Part-time, 20 hours per week Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 5:00pm – 9:00pm Join Our Facilities Team We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our Facilities team. This is a hands-on role that combines day-to-day cleaning responsibilities with supervising and supporting a small team of three cleaning colleagues. Working within a professional office environment, you'll play an important role in ensuring our workplace remains clean, safe, and welcoming for employees, clients, and visitors. This position offers consistent weekday evening hours and the opportunity to make a visible difference every day. Key Responsibilities • Supervise, support and motivate a team of three cleaning colleagues. • Allocate daily tasks and ensure appropriate cover across the building. • Carry out a range of cleaning duties, including: • Offices and workspaces • Meeting rooms • Kitchens and staff areas • Toilets and washrooms • Communal areas • Vacuuming, mopping and general housekeeping • Maintain consistently high cleaning standards throughout the premises. • Act as a keyholder and ensure the building is securely locked at the end of each shift. • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies. • Support effective waste segregation and recycling practices. About You We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys leading by example. You will be organised, dependable and comfortable working independently while supporting a small team. You'll ideally have: • Previous supervisory experience, preferably within a commercial cleaning environment. • Excellent attention to detail. • Strong organisational and time management skills. • A positive, professional attitude. • Good communication skills. • The ability to maintain high standards with minimal supervision.
