Junior Clinical Negligence Solicitor - Kent Fulltime, Permanent - Hybrid considered My client is looking for a talented junior solicitor to join their highly respected clinical negligence team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in claimant clinical negligence work who is ready to develop their skills in a supportive, collaborative environment. You’ll work closely with senior solicitors on a varied caseload, gaining hands-on experience across all stages of clinical negligence claims—from initial enquiries and investigations to settlement negotiations and litigation The role will involve: • Assisting senior team members with the management of clinical negligence files • Conducting legal research, drafting correspondence, witness statements, and court documents • Liaising with clients, medical experts, counsel, and other stakeholders • Reviewing medical records and preparing chronologies • Supporting the team with case preparation for conferences, mediations, and hearings • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements We’d love to hear from you if you are: • A qualified Solicitor (NQ–4 PQE) with experience or a strong interest in clinical negligence • A confident communicator with excellent client-care skills • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail • Able to work both independently and as part of a team • Motivated to build a long-term career in claimant clinical negligence work Experience in personal injury or healthcare-related litigation is desirable but not essential Kellan Group (including all of our brands, Berkeley Scott and Xpress Recruitment) are committed to promoting equal opportunities to people regardless of age, gender, religion, belief, race, sexuality or disability.
