Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Step 2 Coordinator

To assist in the implementation of the stepped care model of delivery of psychological interventions to patients within a primary care setting in line with NICE guidance. To assist with the provision of information and self-help material for service users as part of a library based self-help resources, including implementing computerised and guided CBT. To undertake protocol based psychological assessments of patients applying psychological, including self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations and semi-structured interviews with patients and others involved in the clients care. To assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans involving psychological interventions for mild to moderate mental health problems, under the clinical supervision of qualified professional psychologists, in community and primary care settings. To assist in the coordination and running of therapeutic and groups. To take part in regular internal continuing professional development events and participate in external CPD which is linked to appraisal goals.
