Clinical Manager – Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC)
Location: South London
Salary: £60,000 + Benefits
Are you an experienced Advanced Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner or Paramedic looking to take the next step into clinical leadership?
We are seeking a Clinical Manager to lead our Urgent Treatment Centre, combining autonomous clinical practice with leadership responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity to influence service delivery, support a multidisciplinary team, and drive high standards of patient care, governance and quality improvement.
The Role
As Clinical Manager, you will provide expert urgent and primary care to patients while supporting the operational and clinical leadership of the service. Working closely with the Service Manager, you will help ensure safe, effective and efficient service delivery while developing and supporting your clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess, diagnose, treat and refer patients presenting with urgent care needs.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to the multidisciplinary team.
• Support service delivery, patient flow and operational performance.
• Lead on quality improvement, clinical governance and regulatory compliance.
• Support recruitment, training, supervision and development of clinical staff.
About You
• Registered Nurse or Paramedic with current professional registration.
• Independent Prescriber with advanced practice training (Level 7 or equivalent).
• Minimum 4 years' post-registration experience.
• At least 2 years' autonomous practice within a UTC, Emergency Department or Primary Care setting.
• Experience managing minor illness, minor injuries and acute presentations.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills.
