CNC Milling Machinist

Due to increased demand, we are looking to recruit skilled CNC Millers. The RoleYou will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines using Haas controls, producing high-precision components to tight tolerances. Key Responsibilities • Setting & operating CNC milling machines (Haas controls) • Editing and adjusting programs at the machine • Working from engineering drawings • Inspecting components using measuring equipment • Maintaining quality and productivity standards • Supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor Shift Options & PayOption 1: Day & Night Shift Rotation • £16 per hour on Days, £18 per hour on Nights • 38 hours per week • Days Mon–Thu: 07:30–16:00, Fri: 07:30–13:30 • Nights Mon–Thu: 18:00–06:00 Option 2: Permanent Nights • £18 per hour • 38 hours per week • Mon–Thu: 18:00–06:00 Additional Overtime (Nights Only): • Up to 2 hours per shift • Paid at time and one-third What We’re Looking For • Proven experience setting and operating CNC milling machines • Haas control experience is essential • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings • Strong attention to detail and quality • Background in precision engineering or a machine shop environment What’s On Offer • Competitive hourly rates with structured overtime • Choice of shift patterns to suit your lifestyle • Modern, well-equipped workshop • Stable and growing business Long-term progression opportunities
