Job description
We're looking for an experienced CNC Operative to join a precision engineering team. You'll set up, operate and monitor CNC to produce quality components to engineering drawings and production targets.

Key Responsibilities
• Read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances
• Set up, run and monitor CNC machines
• Load materials, change tooling/fixtures
• Perform first-off and in-process inspections (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Maintain production records and job cards
• Report quality issues and support continuous improvement
• Follow all H&S and quality procedures
Essential Requirements
• Able to read engineering drawings
• 2+ years machining experience
• Hands-on CNC operation and basic setup skills
• Competent with measuring tools
• Strong attention to detail and good time management
Desirable
• CNC or conversational programming
• Knowledge of tooling, feeds and speeds
• Experience with ISO quality standards
