REQ5835 We're looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Collaborative Street Works Manager to drive collaborative working between SGN, Local Authorities and other utility providers. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work within the Performance & Commercial Team in Scotland Operations and play a pivotal role in reducing disruption across Scotland’s gas network while delivering financial, environmental and social benefits for customers and stakeholders alike. We deliver safety, warmth, and comfort to homes and businesses. Every role, whether in the office or on the front line, plays a key part in this mission. Here’s how you will contribute… · Building and maintaining strong relationships with Local Authorities, utility companies and other key stakeholders. · Engage with internal stakeholders to promote and nurture collaborative working practices and get buy-in on the benefits for SGN. · Identifying and developing new collaboration opportunities that reduce the frequency and duration of street works across Scotland. · Attending and contributing to coordination meetings, working groups and steering forums. · Coordinating project delivery to ensure challenging deadlines and commitments are achieved. · Supporting the planning of traffic management arrangements, shared resources and integrated programmes of work. · Preparing project completion reports and evidence to support Ofgem incentive submissions. What you will need We're interested in hearing from candidates who can demonstrate: · Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage audiences at all levels. · Ability to work independently, make sound decisions and take ownership of outcomes. · Experience working with local authorities, utility companies or infrastructure organisations. · Excellent planning and coordination capabilities. · Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. · Commercial awareness and an understanding of how collaborative working can deliver cost efficiencies and wider business benefits. · Ability to work independently, make sound decisions and take ownership of outcomes. Desirable · Experience within a regulated or utility environment. · Experience preparing reports, business cases or performance submissions. · Proven track record in driving improvements and delivering outcomes in a target driven environment.
