Opportunity for a Mid-Level Commercial & Media Litigation Associate to join a highly regarded Dispute Resolution team at a leading US law firm in London. The firm My client is a leading US law firm with a strong reputation across global litigation, crisis management, life sciences, technology, and brand and reputation protection. The firm is known for acting on high-profile, complex cross-border disputes for an impressive client base spanning major corporates, financial institutions, and high net worth individuals. The opportunity The firm is now seeking a talented Commercial & Media Litigation Associate to join its growing London Dispute Resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious associate seeking exposure to sophisticated litigation, direct client contact and accelerated professional development within a high-performing team. The new hire will work closely with senior lawyers on complex, high-value commercial disputes, as well as matters involving copyright, data protection, defamation, privacy and breach of confidence. The role will involve: • Working on all stages of complex commercial & media litigation, from pre-action strategy through to trial preparation and hearings • Handling applications for injunctive relief, including urgent and interim injunctions • Preparing pleadings, statements of case and other court applications • Supporting mediation and settlement discussions • Assisting with international arbitration proceedings Required • Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 3-5years'PQE • Strong experience in injunctions, mediations, pleadings, applications and disclosure processes • Experience acting in complex commercial litigation for both claimants and defendants • Exposure to arbitration and/or cross-border disputes preferred • Experience in contentious tax and/or disputes involving copyright, data protection, defamation, privacy or breach of confidence • Strong academic background • Experience gained at a comparable US or leading international firm Reasons to apply • Competitive salary and benefits • High-quality, complex international disputes work across multiple sectors • Close collaboration with senior and highly experienced litigators • Strong focus on professional development and career progression • Hybrid working To apply, contact Emily Donnell at Birchrose Associates for a confidential discussion.
