Commercial Finance Business Partner

Adele Carr Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding business that has doubled in size for three consecutive years. With a current turnover of approximately £20 million, our client is looking for an ambitious finance professional who wants to play a key role in supporting continued growth. This isn't a traditional finance position. They are looking for someone commercially minded who can partner with the wider business, use data to support decision-making and help drive future performance. The Role Working closely with senior leadership, you'll provide financial insight and analysis that supports business growth and strategic investment. Key responsibilities include: • Business partnering with operational and commercial teams • Producing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decisions • Developing financial models and forecasting future performance • Analysing investment opportunities and providing data-led recommendations • Identifying commercial risks while presenting practical solutions • Supporting budgeting, forecasting and management reporting • Driving process improvements and operational efficiencies • Using AI and modern technology to improve reporting, analysis and productivity • Presenting financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and meaningful way • Supporting the continued growth and scalability of the finance function About You We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving business and can see the bigger commercial picture. You will ideally have: • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified, Qualified by Experience (QBE) or be a strong Part Qualified Accountant • Previous experience within a growing or scaling business • Strong commercial awareness • Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills • Confidence challenging and influencing stakeholders • The ability to balance commercial opportunity with financial risk • A positive, solutions-focused approach • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Strong Excel skills with experience using Power BI or similar reporting tools advantageous • An interest in AI and how emerging technology can improve finance processes The Person This role would suit someone who: • Thrives in businesses that are changing and growing • Understands the principle of "speculate to accumulate" • Uses data to support decisions rather than relying on opinion • Sees opportunities where others see obstacles • Enjoys improving processes and challenging the status quo • Wants to make a genuine impact rather than simply producing reports What's on Offer • Salary between £35,000 - £50,000 depending on experience • Opportunity to join a high-growth business • Exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision making • A varied and commercially focused role • Genuine opportunity to influence the direction of the business • Excellent prospects for future progression If you are keen to discuss this role in more detail please email me at with an upto date copy of your CV
