Commercial Finance Manager

As a Commercial Finance Manager in the technology and telecoms industry, you'll oversee financial planning and analysis to support business decisions. Your role will be essential in ensuring the company's financial health and providing insights to drive growth. Description • Partner with Executive Leadership Team (ELT) members to provide commercial insights and support strategic decision-making. • Lead the preparation of complex business cases, investment proposals and strategic initiatives. • Provide financial analysis, modelling and recommendations to support key business decisions. • Act as a trusted finance partner to senior stakeholders across multiple business functions. • Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes across the group. • Analyse business performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency. • Translate financial data into meaningful insights to influence commercial outcomes. • Collaborate cross-functionally with operational teams to evaluate risks, opportunities and growth initiatives. • Drive continuous improvement across reporting, processes and commercial finance practices. • Present financial findings and recommendations to senior leadership teams. Profile • Proven experience in a commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering role within a complex organisation. • Strong experience developing business cases, financial models and investment proposals. • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders, including Executive Leadership Teams. • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial analysis into actionable insights. • Excellent analytical skills with experience supporting strategic decision-making. • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels. • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment. • A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement. • Experience working in a large, matrixed organisation undergoing transformation is highly desirable.
