Job description

Commercial Property Lawyer (2+ PQE) • Location: Chepstow, South Wales • Job Type: Permanent, Full-time • Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience Join our client, a progressive and modern law firm with a strong commercial focus, located conveniently within 30 minutes of Bristol and 45 minutes from Cardiff. They are seeking a bright and ambitious Commercial Property Lawyer to enhance their property team. This role offers significant autonomy, daily client interactions, and substantial opportunities for career progression. Day-to-day of the role: • Handle the sale and purchase of commercial property efficiently. • Manage leases, renewals, searches, and enquiries. • Prepare detailed reports on property transactions. • Conduct exchanges and completions independently. • Work closely with a property assistant who will support by receiving instructions, opening files, preparing client care letters, and liaising with clients as required. • Participate actively in the firm’s marketing programmes to enhance client engagement and service delivery. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer with at least 2 years of post-qualification experience in commercial property work. • Demonstrable ability to manage a diverse caseload with high autonomy. • Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with people at different levels. • Strong organisational and IT skills, with a keen eye for detail. • Enthusiastic and hardworking, with a willingness to initiate and lead projects.
