Job description

We're looking for a Commissioning Manager to join our Severn Trent Framework team based in Wanlip Location: Wanlip Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role. As a Commissioning Manager, you'll oversee and manage the commissioning process to ensure that all building systems and equipment are installed, tested, and operate according to project design specifications and client requirements. You'll collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate a seamless transition from construction to operational use, ensuring all systems function efficiently, effectively, and in line with compliance. What will you be responsible for? As a Commissioning Manager, you'll be working within the Severn Trent Region team, supporting them in delivering exceptional commissioning outcomes. Your day to day will include: • Overseeing and managing the commissioning process, ensuring systems and equipment are installed, tested, and functioning as per project specifications • Developing and implementing commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures in coordination with project teams • Conducting inspections, functional testing, and performance verification of mechanical, electrical, and building services systems • Identifying and resolving technical issues during the commissioning phase, liaising with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders • Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the commissioning process What are we looking for?
