Commodity Buyer

Job Description We're looking for an experienced Commodity Buyer to manage end-to-end procurement activities within a manufacturing/engineering environment. The role involves supplier negotiations, RFQs, purchase orders, ERP updates, supplier performance management, and driving cost and lead-time improvements while working closely with Procurement Leads and cross-functional teams. Key Requirements: • Bachelor's degree. • Experience as a Commodity Buyer in a manufacturing or engineering environment. • Strong supplier negotiation and procurement experience (RFQs, POs, order fulfilment). • ERP/MRP system experience. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. • Fluent English (written and spoken). Nice to Have: • Experience sourcing engineered polymers and/or high-grade metals. • Manufacturing, engineering, or Oil & Gas industry experience. • Project management or materials management experience. • MCIPS or other professional procurement qualification.
