Job description

Our client, a market leader in retail, is looking to recruit a dynamic and creative Communications, PR & Events Coordinator to support their brand presence, strengthen stakeholder engagement, and deliver high-impact events. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and can confidently manage multiple projects from concept to completion. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, duties to include: • Develop and deliver engaging internal and external communications across digital and print channels • Support PR activity including press releases, media liaison, and brand storytelling • Coordinate and deliver corporate events, exhibitions, conferences, and promotional activities • Manage social media content, scheduling, and performance reporting • Create compelling marketing materials including newsletters, brochures, presentations, and web content • Maintain brand consistency across all communications and touchpoints • Build strong relationships with media contacts, suppliers, partners, and internal teams • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform communication strategies • Assist with crisis communications and reputation management when required As a successful candidate you will have previous experience in communications, PR, marketing, or events coordination with strong writing, and editing skills and a excellent attention to detail who would have confidence managing events from planning through to delivery. With the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all levels, proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling tools together with a creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and engaging content. Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is advantageous and knowledge of media relations and PR processes is desirable.
