Community IV Nurse - Cornwall

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse who wants more independence, better continuity of care, and the chance to build strong long-term relationships with patients in the community. You will work with a wider healthcare team, including dietitians, pharmacists, hospital staff, and other professionals, to make sure patients receive safe, high-quality care that meets their needs. Main duties and responsibilities • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in line with service procedures and clinical guidelines • Support patients receiving IV therapy and TPN in the community and at home • Visit patients at home to start treatment, carry out assessments, provide follow-up care, and offer ongoing support • Teach and support patients, carers, and families so they feel confident managing treatment safely • Build trusting relationships with patients and provide kind, personalised care • Keep clear and accurate clinical records, including electronic patient notes • Monitor how patients are doing and report any concerns or changes straight away • Use and care for clinical equipment and supplies safely • Work closely with the wider healthcare team to support the best possible patient outcomes • Take part in team meetings, service improvements, and ongoing training and development • Follow safeguarding, infection control, governance, and regulatory requirements at all times Job description Job responsibilities This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse who wants more independence, better continuity of care, and the chance to build strong long-term relationships with patients in the community.
