Complex Care Nurse Consultant Job Type: Agency Location: Flexible / Community-Based / London Pay: Competitive PAYE Rates | Weekly Pay Make a Difference in Complex Care at Home We are looking for experienced and passionate Complex Care Nurse Consultants to join our growing Clinical & Complex Care at Home Team. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled nurses who are dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex healthcare needs in their own homes. As a Complex Care Nurse Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, supporting service users to live safely and independently while leading and developing care teams. Key Responsibilities • Deliver and oversee complex clinical care for service users within their own homes. • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments and develop person-centred care plans. • Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to care staff. • Undertake competency assessments and clinical training for support workers. • Monitor and review care packages to ensure safe and effective service delivery. • Work collaboratively with families, multidisciplinary teams, and healthcare professionals. • Ensure compliance with clinical governance, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements. • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will have: • Current NMC Registration (Adult, Children's or Learning Disabilities Nurse). • Previous experience supporting individuals with complex healthcare needs. • Strong knowledge and practical experience of complex clinical interventions, including: • PEG feeding • Tracheostomy care • Stoma care • Ventilation support (desirable) • Catheter care • Medication administration • Excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills. • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational abilities. • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (desirable, depending on location).
