Role: Compounder Location: Newhaven, East Sussex Hours: Monday to Friday AM Shift: 5:00am - 1:00pm (£13.45 per hour) PM Shift: 1:00pm - 9:00pm (£14.80 per hour) Pay: £13.45 - £14.80 per hour, excluding holiday pay Contract: Temp-to-perm An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Compounder to join one of our longstanding clients, a busy and successful manufacturing business based in Newhaven. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering weekly pay, full training and immediate starts available. Working as part of the Production team, you will be responsible for accurately producing finished products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. Benefits • Temp-to-perm opportunity • Weekly pay • Immediate starts available • Full training provided • Friendly and supportive team environment • Opportunity to join a busy and successful manufacturing business The Requirements • Previous experience within production, manufacturing, warehouse or factory environments would be advantageous • Strong numerical skills and confidence working with weights, measurements and percentages are essential • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy • Physically fit and comfortable undertaking manual duties throughout the day • Able to work efficiently whilst maintaining high quality standards • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn • Flexible and proactive approach to work • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines The Role • Accurately weigh and measure ingredients following formulations • Calculate weights, quantities and percentages as required • Carry out compounding and blending duties to produce finished products • Operate and monitor production machinery where required • Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process • Maintain accurate production records • Identify and report any quality issues promptly • Keep the factory clean, organised and safe at all times • Clean spillages safely and efficiently • Operate forklifts and vacuum lifting equipment once training has been completed • Support the wider production team when required Please note: Whilst working on a temporary basis, initial training may take place on a day shift (8:00am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday) before moving onto your permanent AM or PM shift.
