Construction Lecturer (Plumbing, Brickwork, Gas, Plastering, Joinery & Carpentry) – Greater Manchester Salary: From £32 p/h Location: Greater Manchester Contract: Temporary, full-time Reed Further Education are working with a leading education provider in Greater Manchester is seeking passionate Construction Lecturers across multiple trades including Plumbing, Brickwork, Gas, Plastering, Joinery and Carpentry. About the Role: You’ll deliver engaging and practical lessons across one or more of the following trades: • Plumbing • Brickwork • Gas • Plastering • Joinery • Carpentry Your responsibilities will include teaching theory, supervising workshop sessions, preparing learners for assessments, and supporting their progression into apprenticeships or employment. Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across your specialist trade(s). • Prepare lesson plans, practical demonstrations and learning materials that meet curriculum standards. • Support learners in developing both practical and theoretical skills. • Assess learner competence through practical assessments, written work and portfolio evidence. Requirements: • Industry experience in one or more of the following: Plumbing, Brickwork, Gas, Plastering, Joinery or Carpentry. • Relevant Level 2/3 trade qualification. • Strong communication and mentoring skills. • Ability to engage learners of mixed abilities. • Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards. All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years’ referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
