We are currently looking for a Construction Manager - Skanska Network Solutions who will support the Construction management of Integrated Network Infrastructure, Access Control and telecoms packages on various projects, including installation, commissioning, compliance testing and final hand over to the satisfaction of all engaged parties. As the Construction Manager Skanska Network Solutions, you will: • Maintain the areas under your control in accordance with Health,Safety and Welfare procedures. • Liaise with project teams, site agents, consultants, contractors and stakeholders regarding co-ordination of all site based project tasks from initial design implementation for all systems and Sub-System. • Co-ordinate and control suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure works under your control are installed safely, to specification, programme and the required quality standards. • Order and receipt materials and ensure all Installation works are carried out in accordance with Contract Scope. • Regularly inspect installation works for soundness of quality and workmanship. Including compliance requirements for Plant Inspections. We are looking for: • Knowledge and experience required in Structured Cabling, including containment and associated IP Sub-Systems. • Experience in writing and understanding methods statements and risk assessments. • Knowledge of Structured Cabling material specifications and industry working practices. • Knowledge and understanding of Site Wide CNS Networks, Fibre and Copper infrastructure and telecommunications solutions. Experienced in the installation of Wi-Fi systems. Knowledge of associated Construction activities, MEP Scope and programme dependencies. • Experience and knowledge of industry recognised Performance Testing and Commissioning. Familiar with Fluke Testers. • Holds or is able to obtain trade registered qualifications including Site Safety Management Certification (SMSTS).
