Job description
The post-holder will join this supportive and innovative team and take shared responsibility for rare disease genetics referrals to clinics at St. Georges University Hospital and around the SW Thames region. The post-holder can develop their own specialist interest commensurate with departmental requirements and will be offered the opportunity to lead on specialist rare disease services to support and enhance their continuing professional development and career aspirations.
There will be opportunities for working across trusts to facilitate mainstreaming of genomic medicine. The post is for 10 PAs, divided between Direct Clinical Care and Supporting Professional Activities according to the requirements of the post holder and Trust. The post holder will also be expected to provide training for junior colleagues and support the Genetics Counsellors with review and management of complex cases.
