Job description
To lead on management of 8, Level 1 inpatient neurorehabilitation beds in St Georges Hospital. To provide management of additional patients to support annual leave of consultants.
To contribute into multidisciplinary clinics (Physiotherapist and Consultant or Specialist Registrar) in spasticity.
To share a prominent role in tackling the business and management issues that arise in running the unit.
To undertake to supervise and teach Specialist registrars/Higher trainees in Rehabilitation Medicine and resident doctors
To provide formal Undergraduate Educational Activities for medical students on Neuro[1]rehabilitation placement, as part of the NeuroPlus module within Neuroscience rotation.
To be committed to undertake and support audit and the tenets of clinical governance at the trust.
To be flexible in his/her service development to best suit the evolution of the district and tertiary service to cope with the changing demands of providing modern neurorehabilitation care.
To be engaged in continuing professional development, annual appraisal, and revalidation processes.
