Job description

The Role An established and busy law firm is seeking a full-time Conveyancing Paralegal to join its Residential Property team based in its Coventry office. The successful candidate will play a key supporting role within the conveyancing department, assisting experienced lawyers with a varied caseload of residential property transactions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a busy property team and further develop technical knowledge in residential conveyancing. The role would particularly suit an experienced Conveyancing Secretary or Post-Completions Assistant looking to progress their career within a supportive and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Assisting with the management of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion • Preparing and drafting legal documentation and property-related paperwork • Carrying out property searches and reviewing results • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and file management systems • Providing administrative support to ensure smooth progression of transactions • Supporting fee earners and wider team members as required Requirements • Minimum of two years’ experience in residential conveyancing • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail • Good written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage competing deadlines • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop professionally • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Benefits • Competitive salary, dependent on experience • Training and professional development opportunities • Generous holiday entitlement, increasing with length of service • Additional leave over the Christmas and New Year period • Birthday day off after qualifying period • Supportive and collaborative working environment
