Job description

Warner Scott are partnered with a Corporate Finance Boutique in Manchester who are looking to hire a Manager for their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious professional looking to step into an environment that fosters autonomy, and encourages team members to have full ownership of their own engagements, and act as the first point of contact for clients. You'll have the chance to work closely with the Partners of the firm, and there really is no ceiling on progression here. As a Corporate Finance Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day management of active M&A mandates, primarily sell-side transactions. You will be client-facing, hands-on, and integral to the success of each engagement. The team are also open to considering Transaction Services Professionals for this role, so it would be the ideal opportunity for someone looking to make the transition into a lead advisory position. Key responsibilities: • Leading end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, including preparation of marketing materials, buyer outreach, negotiation support, and project management through to completion. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with business owners, professional advisors, and strategic / financial buyers. • Taking a proactive role in pitch preparation and business development alongside Directors and Partners. Desirables: • ACA qualified (or equivalent) with a background in Corporate Finance, M&A, or Transaction Services, • Strong financial modelling skills • Comfortable managing relationships with clients and acting as their first point of contact
