Corporate Tax Director
Location: London (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £85,000 - £100,000 + Bonus + Benefits
The Opportunity
A leading UK accountancy and advisory firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Director to join its growing London tax practice.
This is a senior leadership role for an ambitious corporate tax professional looking to step into a position with significant advisory responsibility, strong client influence, and a clear pathway towards Partner level progression.
The role is primarily advisory-led and will involve managing complex projects, leading key client relationships, and contributing directly to the strategic growth of the Corporate Tax service line.
The firm has a strong culture of collaboration, development, and long-term career progression, with structured support in place for high-performing individuals aiming to progress to Partner.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver complex corporate tax advisory engagements across a diverse client base, including owner-managed businesses, large corporates, and international groups
* Act as a trusted adviser to senior stakeholders, building and maintaining long-term client relationships
* Oversee significant tax projects, managing scope, risk, budgets, and delivery quality
* Drive business development activity, including networking, proposal preparation, and identifying advisory opportunities
* Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the Corporate Tax service line
* Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing tax teams
* Collaborate with other service lines to deliver integrated client solutions
Candidate Profile
* Currently operating at Corporate Tax Senior Manager or Director level, or a high-performing Senior Manager ready for promotion
* Strong background in corporate tax advisory work with experience managing complex projects
* Proven ability to lead client relationships at senior stakeholder level
* Commercially minded with a track record of identifying and developing business opportunities
* CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong leadership skills with a clear ambition to progress to Partner level
