A leading professional services firm is looking to appoint an experienced Corporate & International Tax Senior Manager to join its growing national tax team. Working with a broad portfolio of multinational groups, UK-listed businesses and ambitious privately owned companies, you'll advise on complex domestic and international tax matters while building long-term client relationships and leading high-performing teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Manager who enjoys solving complex commercial challenges, developing people and working closely with senior leadership on high-profile advisory projects.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Manager, you'll play a leading role in delivering strategic tax advice across a wide range of industries, supporting clients through business growth, international expansion, restructuring and major corporate transactions. You'll work alongside Partners and specialists from across the wider business to deliver integrated solutions, while taking ownership of client relationships, mentoring future leaders and contributing to the continued growth of the practice. This is a role with genuine influence, combining technical advisory work, leadership and commercial responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of complex UK and international corporate tax advisory projects.
• Advise clients on business restructures, cross-border transactions, international expansion, financing and wider strategic tax matters.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a strategic adviser on corporate tax issues.
• Support clients in navigating evolving UK and international tax legislation and broader commercial challenges.
• Work collaboratively with Partners and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Oversee the delivery of corporate tax compliance work where appropriate, ensuring the highest technical standards.
• Manage multiple client engagements, project budgets and team resources.
• Coach, mentor and develop junior colleagues, helping to build a high-performing and inclusive team.
• Play an active role in business development through networking, proposals, client presentations and identifying opportunities within existing relationships.
About You
• ACA, CTA, Solicitor qualification or an equivalent overseas qualification.
• Significant UK Corporate Tax experience, with a strong advisory background.
• Experience advising on complex corporate tax matters, international tax issues and strategic transactions.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate technical legislation into practical business advice.
• Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
• Proven experience leading teams, managing projects and developing junior colleagues.
• A collaborative approach with the confidence to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• The ambition to continue developing your leadership profile within a growing national practice.
