Corporate Tax Solicitor | International Law Firm | Birmingham | 2+ PQE - An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Corporate Tax Solicitor to join the Birmingham office of a leading international law firm. Working as part of a highly regarded national tax practice, you will advise on a broad range of complex and high-value transactions for an impressive client base spanning multinational corporations, private equity houses, financial institutions and owner-managed businesses. THE ROLE: • Advising on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, private equity transactions and joint ventures. • Providing strategic tax advice to UK and international clients across a wide range of sectors. • Working closely with colleagues in the Corporate, Banking, Real Estate and Employment teams on multidisciplinary matters. • Supporting clients on employee incentives, share schemes, VAT and stamp taxes, as well as wider corporate tax issues. • Building strong client relationships and playing an active role in business development initiatives. THE CANDIDATE: • Applications are welcomed from Corporate Tax Solicitors with at least 2 years' PQE gained at a recognised regional, national or international firm. • Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax with experience of advising on transactional matters. • Commercially aware with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. • A proactive approach with the ability to manage your own workload while contributing to a collaborative team environment. • An interest in developing your profile and progressing your career within a leading international practice.
