Forklift Truck Driver • Hourly Pay: £15.00 • Location: Camelford • Job Type: Temporary (6-week placement) • Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 17:00 We are currently seeking a skilled Forklift Truck Driver for a 6-week temporary placement. The role involves operating a counterbalance forklift to manage goods, ensuring safe loading and unloading from lorries, and efficient storage in racks. This position is ideal for individuals who are proficient in forklift operations and adhere strictly to safety protocols. Day-to-day of the role: • Operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload goods from lorries. • Ensure goods are securely placed and accurately stored in designated rack locations. • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the loading area and storage facilities. • Conduct routine checks and maintenance on the forklift to ensure it is in good working order. • Adhere to all safety guidelines and standards during operations. • Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimise space and efficiency in storage areas. • Report any incidents or discrepancies in inventory to the supervisor immediately. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Forklift Truck Driver. • Valid counterbalance forklift operating license. • Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations. • Excellent physical condition and coordination. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
