Court of Protection Newly Qualified - Associate Solicitor Taunton | Hybrid Working 1+ Years experience needed The Role This very established and fast growing regional law firm in Taunton is recruiting a solicitor into its established Court of Protection team Key Responsibilities • Independently manage a caseload of Property & Affairs matters • Handle day-to-day tasks and decisions - Managing bank accounts, investments and benefits • Prepare and submit applications to the Court of Protection • Liaise with individuals, their families, deputies and the OPG • Draft witness statements and court applications • Represent clients at Court of Protection hearings • Supervise more junior members of the team About You • You will already be working in a Court of Protection role • And likely running your own caseload • You may be a newly qualified solicitor, or have up to 4 or 5 years’ experience What’s on Offer • Very competitive salary from £45k+ • Company pension scheme • Life assurance and income protection • Private healthcare • 25-30 days’ annual leave, plus: • Buy/sell holiday scheme • Your birthday off • A genuinely supportive culture with clear long-term progression This firm invests in its people and promotes on merit — not politics.
