Cover Supervisor Day-to-Day | Flexible Hours Location: West London (Multiple Boroughs) Salary: £110-£125 per day, dependent on experience We are looking for confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools throughout the boroughs of West London. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in different classroom environments and wants the flexibility to choose the days and schools that work best for them. You'll be stepping in to supervise pre-set lessons in the absence of the usual class teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged, on task and supported throughout the school day, all while being backed by a dedicated consultant who will match you with bookings that suit your schedule. About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes working from pre-prepared lesson plans and cover work set by the class teacher, ensuring lessons run smoothly in their absence. You will need to be confident managing behaviour in classrooms you may be seeing for the first time, building rapport with pupils quickly and adapting to each school's individual routines and expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise pre-set lessons and cover work set by the class teacher - Maintain a calm, structured and positive classroom environment - Manage pupil behaviour in line with each school's policies and procedures - Quickly adapt to different school settings, routines and year groups - Support pupils' learning and well being throughout the school day - Liaise professionally with school staff and leadership on arrival - Follow safeguarding, health and safety and school-specific policies at all times About You: - Experience supervising or working within a classroom setting is desirable - Confident managing behaviour and building rapport quickly in unfamiliar classrooms - Flexible, reliable and adaptable, comfortable working across different schools - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing - Graduates and those considering a career in teaching are welcome to apply Who are Aspire People?
