About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the school by: • Supervising classes in the absence of teaching staff • Delivering pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment • Managing classroom behaviour effectively • Supporting students of varying abilities to remain engaged and on task This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and keen to develop their experience in a secondary school setting. What We’re Looking For • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Confidence managing groups of students across a range of subjects • A strong interest in education and student development • The ability to create a calm, purposeful learning environment • A proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to wider school improvement Candidates with experience in schools or those considering a career in teaching are especially encouraged to apply.
