Cover Supervisor • Job Type: Temporary (Day-to-Day or Long Term Supply) • Location: School across East Sussex • Salary: £110 - £140 per day We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our team on a day-to-day supply basis. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience working in UK schools or those who have a strong desire to enter the teaching profession. You will be responsible for covering secondary classes across various subjects, providing high-quality education and maintaining the standards of the school. Day-to-day of the role: • Cover classes across various secondary subjects, ensuring continuity of education in the absence of the regular teacher. • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and school policies. • Engage students in learning activities, maintaining discipline and a positive learning environment. • Prepare and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences. • Provide appropriate feedback on student work and maintain records of students' progress and development. • Manage student behaviour in the classroom by enforcing rules and procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Flexibility to adapt to varying teaching assignments and school environments. • Previous experience working in UK schools is advantageous but not mandatory. • Strong desire to enter the teaching profession and passion for education. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage classrooms and promote a positive learning environment.
