CQC Registered Manager (Domiciliary Care) Location: Birmingham Salary: £38,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Company: New and Growing Domiciliary Care Provider Lead a New Home Care Service and Make a Real Difference Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a passionate and driven CQC Registered Manager to join our exciting start-up domiciliary care company in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in building a high-quality home care service from the ground up, helping people remain independent in their own homes while delivering outstanding standards of care. As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations, supporting the development of the business, and leading a team that shares your commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities • Register and maintain registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). • Lead and manage the daily operations of the domiciliary care service. • Ensure compliance with all CQC standards, legislation, and company policies. • Recruit, develop, and manage care staff and coordinators. • Carry out audits, quality assurance checks, and service reviews. • Manage safeguarding concerns, complaints, incidents, and risk assessments. • Build positive relationships with service users, families, local authorities, and healthcare professionals. • Support business growth through excellent service delivery and reputation management. • Monitor performance against key quality and operational targets. • Promote a culture of person-centred care, dignity, and respect. About You Essential Requirements • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Care Manager within domiciliary care. • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements. • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards). • Experience managing and developing care teams. • Excellent communication and leadership skills. • Good understanding of safeguarding, risk management, and quality assurance. • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. Desirable • Experience successfully managing a Good or Outstanding CQC-rated service. • Experience helping establish or grow a start-up care service. • Knowledge of local Birmingham health and social care networks. • Business development and occupancy growth experience.
