Registered Manager – Learning Disabilities Residential Home
Location: Isle of Wight
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week, full-time
Type: Permanent
Are you an experienced and passionate care professional looking for your next leadership opportunity? We are seeking a dedicated Registered Manager to lead our established 13-bed residential home for adults with learning disabilities on the beautiful Isle of Wight.

About the Role
As the Registered Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management and operation of the service. You will ensure compliance with CQC regulations, maintain high-quality standards of care, and promote a positive and inclusive culture where residents can thrive and achieve their individual goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide effective leadership and management of the residential service.
• Ensure the home operates in compliance with CQC regulations and other relevant legislation.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of care professionals.
• Manage staffing levels, recruitment, training, supervision and performance management.
• Promote person-centred support plans tailored to individual needs.
• Oversee safeguarding practices and ensure residents' wellbeing and safety.
• Manage budgets and resources effectively.
• Build positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
• Drive continuous improvement and service development.
• Maintain excellent standards of record keeping and reporting.
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or Service Manager within adult social care.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standards.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards).
• Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and person-centred care.
• Full UK driving licence preferred.
