Job description

Overview The aim of the Bank is to deliver tailored lending solutions to asset managers and their funds. Its primary objective is to drive “bundled” business for the Group by complementing traditional lending with off-balance sheet, revenue generating services such as Fund Administration. The team focuses primarily on Subscription Finance and select Net Asset Value (NAV) lending structures. Team responsibilities range from credit analysis, deal structuring and negotiation with internal and external clients, legal documents review, portfolio monitoring, and the preparation and presentation of credit approvals. Hybrid working - The job holder is required to attend the office regularly with anticipated 2-3 days weekly office attendance. There is also plenty of opportunity to work from home, for which equipment will be supplied Purpose The role is responsible for loan administration, credit monitoring and administration and supporting credit risk management for the fund finance portfolio. The role emphasises accurate loan processing compliance and developing insightful credit analysis to aid decision-making and support client relationships. Key Responsibilities Loan Administration - Process client loan drawdown and repayment requests, verifying requested amounts against borrowing bases Monitoring - Conduct basic portfolio monitoring, including checks on collaterals, investors, covenants and facility fees, etc. recording results in tracking databases, management sheets or investor listings. Credit analysis and review - Prepare credit papers and memorandum related to fund finance transactions Client Onboarding Credit Administration - Prepare inputs for profit reports and support loan drawdown preparation through ensuring all documentation is in place. Qualifications - Degree level education is required. Finance, banking, mathematics or accounting discipline preferred but not essential.
