Job Title: Credit Controller -Hybrid Location: Ipswich (Office-based training, then hybrid working available) Contract: 18 months Fixed-Term Contract Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum Working Pattern: Full-time or Part-time (x4 days) Hours: 9am–5:30pm (flexible) Holiday: 23 days + bank holidays Overview We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a growing finance team on a 18-month fixed-term contract. Following an initial training period of 2–4 weeks in the Ipswich office, this role will become hybrid. 3 days in the office/2 days at home. You will be responsible for managing a busy ledger and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure timely payments. Key Responsibilities • Managing a ledger of approximately 70–80 accounts • Building and maintaining relationships with around 250 customers • Chasing outstanding payments via email, phone, and WhatsApp • Creating and issuing invoices using Sage 200 • Releasing sales orders in line with company procedures • Resolving customer queries efficiently to support payment collection • Working closely within a team of 3 to support overall credit control function Requirements • Previous experience in a Credit Control role • Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with customers • Experience using Sage 200 (or similar accounting system) • Ability to manage a high-volume ledger independently • Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise workload Additional Information • Hybrid working available after initial training period • Supportive team environment with 3 team members • Flexible working pattern available (full-time or 4 days per week)
