Credit Controller (9-Month Fixed-Term Contract) Location: Reading (Hybrid) Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum About the Client Our client is a well-established organisation. About the Job An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a busy Client Accounting team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. Duties will include: • Managing outstanding debt on behalf of clients and driving timely payment recovery. • Working with clients to discuss suitable repayment arrangements. • Escalating recovery matters through legal representatives where appropriate. • Producing regular reports on aged debt and recovery performance. • Maintaining accurate financial records and updating internal systems. • Investigating and resolving payment queries received by telephone and email. • Preparing and manipulating Excel reports to support credit control activities. • Identifying opportunities to improve existing credit control processes and procedures. • Providing general administrative support and assisting with additional projects when required. About the Successful Applicant The successful candidate will have previous Credit Control experience together with strong financial administration skills and excellent attention to detail. You'll be confident communicating with a range of stakeholders, highly organised, proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
