Our client is based in Southampton, and due to a busy period and various ongoing projects, the finance team is looking for additional support.
Description
• Manage credit control processes, including monitoring and chasing outstanding payments.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and customer interactions.
• Prepare detailed reports on account statuses and outstanding debts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies effectively.
• Ensure compliance with organisational policies and industry regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures.
• Support the Accounting & Finance department with ad hoc tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
• Previous experience in credit control or a similar accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems and accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Job Offer
• Competitive salary ranging from £30,000 to £33,000 per annum.
