Job description

A successful and expanding organisation is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Credit Controller to join its growing finance team. This is a varied and fast-paced role, combining Credit Control, Sales Ledger, Billing and Customer Service responsibilities, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a diverse workload, building customer relationships and being part of a busy finance function. Working as part of a friendly finance team, you will be responsible for managing the credit control process while supporting the wider sales ledger and billing functions. You will proactively chase outstanding payments, maintain customer accounts, allocate cash, reconcile ledgers and resolve customer account queries in a professional and timely manner. You will also prepare and issue invoices, support the billing process, investigate discrepancies, process account adjustments where required and work closely with colleagues across the business to ensure customer accounts remain accurate. Ideally you will have: • Previous experience in Credit Control, Sales Ledger, Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role. • Experience managing customer accounts, chasing outstanding debt, raising invoices and allocating cash. • Strong customer service and communication skills with the confidence to build relationships and resolve account queries professionally. • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy and varied workload.
