Temporary Credit Controller - South Essex - £15-£17 per hour Location: South Essex (Office-based - own transport required) Rate: Up to £17 per hour Contract: Temporary (minimum 6 months) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm Your new company A well-established organisation based in South Essex is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their high-performing finance team on a temporary basis. You will be working within a supportive and collaborative environment, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.Your new roleAs Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger and ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts. Key duties will include: • Chasing outstanding invoices via phone and email • Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts • Building strong relationships with customers to resolve queries efficiently • Producing aged debt reports and providing updates to senior management • Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks What you'll need to succeed • Proven experience in a Credit Controller or similar role • Strong communication and negotiation skills • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively • Good Excel and system skills • Due to location, you must be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle What you'll get in return • Competitive hourly rate of up to £17 per hour • Opportunity to work within a strong and supportive finance team • Exposure to a well-structured finance function and senior leadership • Immediate start with a contract of at least 6 months What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or contact us today for more information.
