Job Title: Credit Control Assistant Location:Wolverhampton Contract Type: Temporary Department: Finance Join Our Team! Are you ready to take on a rewarding role in the heart of the education sector? Our client is seeking a motivated and proactive Credit Control Assistant to join their dynamic Finance team! What You'll Do: As a Credit Control Assistant, you will play a vital role in managing debt for our client, dealing with a variety of customers including commercial companies, local authorities, NHS Trusts, and more. Your responsibilities will include: • Debt Chasing: Engage with customers through regular telephone contact to ensure timely payments. • Record Maintenance: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts, in line with established procedures. • Customer Rapport: Build productive relationships with customers to enhance cash flow for the organisation. • Account Monitoring: Identify any customers who are struggling to pay and collaborate with the Accounts Receivable Manager for further action. • Data Entry Support: Assist with data entry tasks during staff absences or holidays, ensuring smooth operations. • Cashier Duties: Step in to cover cashier responsibilities as needed. • Information Hub Operations: Help run the Information Hub efficiently. Who You Are: The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for customer service.
