Derriford, Plymouth | Temp to Perm Opportunity | Full Time Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Claims Administrator to join their busy and supportive team in Derriford, Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration and customer service experience who enjoys investigating issues, solving problems, and working in a fast-paced environment. The Role As a Customer Claims Administrator, you'll play a key role in managing a variety of health and safety-related cases, including personal injury claims, property damage claims, and customer complaints. Working within a dedicated team, you'll investigate cases, gather information from multiple stakeholders, and ensure each case is progressed efficiently and professionally. One of the unique benefits of this position is that all customer communication is handled via email, with no telephone contact required. Key Responsibilities • Manage a caseload of personal injury, property damage, and customer complaint cases through an internal case management system • Investigate claims by gathering information from stores, suppliers, customers, and internal departments • Respond to customer enquiries professionally and promptly via email • Maintain accurate case records and documentation • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to progress cases effectively • Review information and evidence to support decision-making • Ensure all cases are handled in line with company procedures and service levels • Identify missing information and proactively follow up where required • Prioritise workload to meet deadlines in a busy environment • Escalate more complex cases when necessary • Provide support across the wider Health & Safety and Operations teams What We're Looking For • Previous administration and customer service experience • Exceptional written communication skills • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Excellent organisational and time management skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems • A proactive and professional approach to problem-solving • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Desirable Experience • Experience working in a claims, legal, insurance, or retail operations environment • Understanding of Personal Injury or Property Damage processes • Experience liaising with multiple stakeholder What's On Offer?
