Cyber Security Consultant - Preston, Birmingham or London, UK • Up to £570 per day, Inside IR35, • Hybrid working with 2 days onsite • Active SC clearance required • 3 month contract duration ABOUT THE CLIENT: Our client is a well-established technology consultancy delivering critical cyber security programmes across the UK Defence sector. You will join a large-scale transformation programme focused on improving operational governance and security processes across a complex supplier landscape. Due to continued project growth, they are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to support the next phase of delivery. This is a governance focused role, ensuring consistent standards, reporting and assurance rather than carrying out hands-on SOC or incident response activities. You will: • Align incident and vulnerability management processes across suppliers • Govern high severity security incidents and vulnerability lifecycles • Coordinate suppliers to ensure consistent delivery and reporting • Support audit readiness through evidence and assurance activities • Produce clear reporting for governance forums and BAU transition CYBER SECURITY CONSULTANT ESSENTIAL SKILLS: • Sole UK National • Experience within security incident management, vulnerability management or cyber governance • Experience working within SIAM or multi-supplier environments • Strong understanding of incident and vulnerability management lifecycles • Experience interpreting outputs from SOC and vulnerability management tooling • Excellent stakeholder management and governance experience • Defence or highly regulated industry experience would be beneficial TO BE CONSIDERED: Please either apply through this advert or emailing me directly via
