Full Job Description attached. The post holder will work within Children and Young Peoples ADHD and Autism diagnostic pathways, providing occupational therapy expertise throughout the assessment process. Responsibilities include: Clinical Assessment • Conducting structured functional and sensory assessments. • Assessing participation, daily living skills, sensory processing and adaptive functioning. • Gathering and integrating information from multiple sources. • Identifying co-occurring developmental and functional needs. • Supporting safe and evidence-based diagnostic decision-making. Report Writing and Communication • Producing clear, accurate and timely clinical reports. • Delivering recommendations that are practical and person-centred. • Communicating findings in a neurodiversity-affirming manner. • Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation. Governance and Quality • Adhering to HCPC standards and professional codes of practice. • Maintaining safeguarding knowledge and mandatory training requirements. • Participating in supervision, audit, reflective practice and service development. • Working within organisational policies, clinical governance frameworks and information governance requirements. Collaborative Working • Working closely with fellow MDT clinicians, operational teams and external partners. • Supporting effective communication with GPs, schools and partner organisations. • Contributing to continuous service improvement and pathway development. Successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to high-quality, person-centred care and ongoing professional development.
