Data Engineer
£70,000 - West London (Hybrid - 1 day onsite)
We are seeking a Data Engineer to join a well-established, international organisation operating within a sustainability-focused industry. The business is undergoing a significant digital and data transformation, with major investment in modern cloud platforms, AI and automation to enhance operational performance and support future growth.
You will play a key role in delivering and evolving scalable data infrastructure and supporting a major migration to Microsoft Fabric. Working with large, complex data sets and modern cloud technologies you will design and build robust data pipelines and solutions that support business-critical reporting and operations.
This role sits within a collaborative BI & Data team, working closely with stakeholders, analysts and wider technology teams to deliver reliable data solutions across the organisation. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, solving complex data challenges and driving improvements in data processes, while contributing to a forward-looking data strategy in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric pipelines, Lakehouses and end-to-end data solutions
• Support the migration of CRM data into Dynamics 365 ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Write, optimise and maintain SQL/T-SQL queries for efficient data transformation
• Develop and maintain data models to support reporting, analytics and KPI tracking
• Monitor and improve data quality, performance and reliability across platforms
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-impact data solutions
Skills and Experience
• Strong experience in a Data Engineering delivering data solutions in fast-paced environments
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Proven track record working with ETL processes, data integration and pipeline development
• Advanced SQL/T-SQL skills
• Experience designing and implementing data models to support reporting and analytical use cases
• Ability to work closely with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into data solutions
• Experience with Python or PySpark, particularly within Fabric Notebooks
• Exposure to Azure data services such as Data Factory, Synapse or Data Lake
• Power BI experience, including supporting reporting and dashboarding requirements
