Data Manager

I am working with a growing business in Norwich to recruit a newly created Data Manager position. This is a high-impact role working closely with the senior leadership team, using data to provide clearer financial insight, improve visibility of business performance and support smarter commercial decision-making. The role will focus on turning complex business data into meaningful insight that can influence strategy, improve sales performance and identify new commercial opportunities. You will work across sales, finance, marketing and operations, helping stakeholders better understand performance, trends and areas for improvement. A key part of the position will involve analysing sales, prospect, audience and campaign data to improve targeting, refine the sales process and support more effective decision-making. You will also help improve the quality, consistency and accessibility of reporting across the business. Preferred skills and experience: • Strong experience analysing commercial, financial, sales or marketing data • Confidence producing clear reports, dashboards and actionable insight • Experience working with CRM, campaign, prospect or audience data • Strong SQL skills and a good understanding of data structures • Experience with cloud data platforms such as GCP, BigQuery or Dataflow would be beneficial • A strong understanding of data quality, governance and GDPR • Excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills • The ability to translate data into clear commercial recommendations What you will get in return: • Salary of £50,000–£55,000 • Generous holiday allowance • Hybrid working, with one day per week from home • Learning and development opportunities • Pension scheme • Free onsite parking This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded data professional who enjoys using insight to influence decisions, improve performance and support business growth.
