Job Title: DBS Cleaner Location: Chelmsford Contract Type: Temporary, Summer Seasonal Hours: Various after school 3:30-5:30pm or Daytime Pay Rate: £12.71-£13 per hour + Holiday, Pension & Adecco Benefits Immediate Start if you have a valid Enhanced DBS We are currently recruiting Enhanced DBS Cleaners to work across educational settings, including schools and student accommodation blocks. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities • Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets, and communal areas • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across school buildings and accommodation blocks • Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces • Emptying bins and replenishing consumable supplies • Following health and safety procedures at all times • Securing areas upon completion of cleaning duties where required What We are Looking For • A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to undergo a DBS check) • Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential • Excellent attention to detail • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently • Good understanding of health and safety practices • Flexibility to work various shifts or after school hours If you are a dependable cleaner with an Enhanced DBS and are looking for flexible work within the education sector, we'd love to hear from you.
