Delivery Driver - Temp to Perm

Job Title: Delivery Driver & Installer Location: Hayes Pay: £14.80 per hour (£34,645 per annum upon permanent contract) Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday Start Time: 6:30am (finish once route is complete – typically 6–10 hours) Additional: One overnight stay per week required About the RoleWe’re seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver & Installer to join a busy home delivery team. This role involves delivering and assembling large household items directly in customers’ homes, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from start to finish. What You’ll Be Doing • Delivering and assembling household goods at customer locations • Providing a high level of service with a professional and friendly approach • Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and reporting any faults • Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records • Adhering to all company procedures and health & safety guidelines • Communicating effectively with customers and internal departments • Adjusting to changes in routes or schedules when required • Supporting the wider transport team and meeting operational targets • Assisting with additional tasks as needed What We’re Looking For • Proven experience in a delivery driving role • Home delivery experience is advantageous • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team • Flexible approach with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment • Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays • Opportunity for long-term career progression If you’re hands-on, dependable, and enjoy working in a customer-facing role, this could be a great fit—apply now to find out more.
