Job description

Outstanding Deputy Finance Business Partner role with a highly established, award-winning manufacturing business where quality, innovation and continuous improvement sit at the heart of everything they do. This would suit a commercially minded CIMA part qualified accountant who has experience within a manufacturing environment. Working closely with the Senior Finance Business Partner, it's a great platform, giving you the opportunity to work closely with the business, providing financial analysis and insight to facilitate strong business decision making. This will be varied - core duties will include: • Monthly reporting of cost of sales, overheads, depreciation and divisional costs. • Prepare accruals and prepayments alongside regular budget holder reviews. • Partner with budget holders to produce robust forecasts and budgets, monitor variances and provide meaningful insight. • Assist with capital planning and model the impact on depreciation • Support ad hoc projects, investigations and cost-saving initiatives across the business. • Contribute to audit activity and continuous improvement of financial processes and controls. You will ideally have a background in manufacturing finance and be actively working towards CIMA qualification. You will be confident working cross-functionally, comfortable engaging with colleagues across the business, building strong relationships, have an eye for detail and good problem solving skills.
