One of our flagship contracts is with the Ministry of Defence at a major base near Watford - a complex, high-profile environment where we provide a full range of hard, soft, and technical FM services. We are currently looking for a Deputy Maintenance Manager to join our Building Services team in Northwood to - specifically over see the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance of the site CIS Infrastructure Team and the successful management and delivery of Small Work Projects As the Deputy Maintenance Manager, you will: • Operational management of a team of multi-skilled CIS Technicians, overseeing all CIS Infra fault rectification works, relevant site wide planned maintenance works and project installations. • Responding to all faults reported from the Client supporting multiple classification communication systems. • Management and support of the Skanska on site connectivity for all installed systems • Infrastructure support for the in-scope on-site internet & IPTV system • Support for all building services related connectivity and network assets including BMS, fire alarms, security etc. • Liaising with Projects and Lifecycle Managers for the delivery of allocated project works in accordance with project programmes and within allocated budgets. • Responsible for the management and procurement of all CIS based materials to support the contract. • Operational management of a team of multi-skilled technicians and sub-contractors responsible for the site delivery of small works and Skanska projects. • Delivery of planned project tasks associated with client agreed project scopes. • Ensure the end-to-end project delivery is consistent and concise, ensuring profitable and timely delivery. • Assisting with completing the self-audit of all projects ensuring SCIDA compliance where required We are looking for: • Experience in electrical services, telecoms & structured cabling. • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Electrical / Electronic / Communications Infrastructure field • Experience in a similar role and the end user delivery of projects. • Hold a C&G 2365 (Level 3) or equivalent. • Experience of complex building services in a military environment including Telecommunications, BMS and complex fire and security systems. • Experience in a similar role on a MOD or critical environment site. • Excellent team working and problem-solving capabilities. • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance of DV level. • To fully comprehend all C&G 3666 modules for installation of Fibre Optic and Copper cables associated with data networks. • Have attended and passed the MoD CIDA course.
